As always we arrived in our little MyVi..we are allowed to drive all the way up so thats just what we did..choosing a place to park is easy enough..but the actual hard part is going out!!

The giant statue of the Goddess of Mercy also known as Guan Ying Pu Sa..
It is such a beautiful sight under a shelter supported by 16 dragon pillars imported from China and carved under the hands of experts..
See that white Guan Ying statue head there on the building? That is the original statue 20 years ago..but all underneath the head was burnt because of a fire started off from burning of dried leaves.. the statue's body and was slightly sooted and damaged. this is what I have heard I am not sure whether it is true or not.. The 12 Chinese Zodiac made out of Rat, Cattle, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and lastly Pig.
There is even volunteers selling incense, candles and roof piles (i don't know what it is but i am still thinking!!!!!) For donation and hopefully handle all of the expenses and building funds.

Nice...Everyone is good for action..and in high spirits..

me..before going to the ropes course..quite energetic and cheerful..I am now in the bus traveling at about 80 km/h..quite shaky and if you can see behind everyone is trying to stable themselves.

Pwew we are back from the ropes course on two lorries!!!!
But the bus is on the other side of the road..so we have to cross this road which is quite heavy
On the bus..everyone is talking about the ropes course but sry again cause no pictures for that.

In our team the Rojak Crew this is the graduation day so everyone is doing their best in giving out their best ideas..GO!GO! team!!
Before graduation time to have lunch...and we are late b'cause the Secret Recipe restaurant in front of Hilton hotel...the food came at about 8 minutes to the end of our lunch break which is 20 mins..it took 12 them to serve..and when we came back...the last game have already started..

Er Gu and Dad's Favourite the Stag Horn Fern!!!

W00T!! Trees everywhere from downstairs to upstair and to my dads office....

Particular fire hydrant...its not the same design near our houses...

Nice shade under this tree that provides a perfect shelter from the sun...is trully nice..

Drainage problem...but good thing..beautiful moss is growing on the tar road..my dad has tried to hand plant these at my home but till now there is still no sucess....

There is a Bee Hive at the right.. but it is too high to capture a perfect shot so this is what is got...and...you can see it..see that black thing here.^ <= (here)It could be the biggest hive in the city...

This meal is for Ching Wan Jie Jie and Kuan Yew Ge Ge because this is the first time he came to have dinner with our family...He even bring along her tall sister (Xue Yee)

Geng-Geng and sugarish water make a good desert after dinner!!!! (My mom's favourite)

Wow!!! Peach and Jelly!!! Made by Pe Pe's expert hands....(but my sis didn't eat the jelly but the peaches.....are gone the day after......

hmmmm,delicious food cooked by Pe Pe from left: 1st 1 is the "o o" (Black-Black) and 2nd is the "xio tu bak (pork) and chili padi"

Finally this is my personal favourite....The CHICKEN CURRY!!!!!
And the BEST of all Is the TU TOR THENG (Pork Stomach Soup) that is Ching Wan Jie Jie's Favourite.
However the mood is just like Chinese New Year eating talking and laughing together...and we are using NEW ~~plates~~!!

This is my first day in this training camp and the place is air-conditioning and is full of people whom i did not know at all...But soon they divide us into 3 groups.. This pic shows my group the "0015" the name is actually copied from 007....

Letter Specially For Jian Gang!!

hi Jian Gang hope you are reading this..because i wrote this just for you..This is what i have done in the 3 days 2 nights camp..

Day 1: Members arrival: i felt terrible as i was late..and got 50 pumping..then its foot drill competition and i thought that my team is bound to lose but in the last day we emerge as second place... what a surprise!! Then Lunch time: my team cooked fried chicken and vegetables wow hard to belive that i get to eat such food in first day in camp i am so lucky to be in this group !!
12:00 a.m.: Lights out!!

Day 2: 6:30a.m.:"WAKE UP!!" yelled the comander in full force that will make you jump right out of your skins!!Then exercise 1~2~3~4~5~6....., run around the padang... at padang is totaly eerie and cold i didnt like that kind of training!!Soon my worst nightmare~~Vitality Test~~ pushes me to my limits. The pain is like pulling out your fingers one by one from their sockets!! Thats why only 26 passed... sadly i did not pass (T,T) try harder next year!! After review... its 2:00a.m.~~ sleep........zzzzzz....

But the OC have other plans for us at 4:00a.m. NIGHT GAMES!!!!! Hate that spoil my beauty sleep!!1st game :They call you to fill a water bottle that is 1.5 litres in the dark toilet and his partner go back in there and empty out the water that he filled.... 2nd game: treasure hunting in the dark with only 2 candles truely "geli"!! Then back to sleep untill 9:00 a.m.!!

Day 3 : ~~~ Y~A~W~N~ I overslept and my team got 50 pumping because of me...sad...(T,T) Pack up and ready to go home!!! 6:30 p.m. : Good Bye NCO Training Camp but next year will be even worst... =]

St John 3 days 2 nights camp!

In the 3 days 2 nights camp i am now a NCO member. In this camp i learnt team test (some sort of first aid medical help),casualty simulation, bandaging, and a lot more! During the team test i accidentally mistreated 4 casualties and they collapsed (dead). Soon, i am in the casualty simulation contest they put some dough (to make a fake wound) and some red coffee+red food colouring and many more ingredients. My head is wet with the self made blood that stinks like hell but it is drinkable... Finally i am back in home now and my arms and legs are aching like hell but with some oil i am soon all right. =] Just nice to be back home!

Art Camp 2008!!

This is at the place Art Camp 2008 was held but today is the last day and luckily i bought my trusty camera with me.
Parents and relatives of the participants rushed into the Pusat Belia (the place of the Art Camp) to meet their children. As I was in the silk screen workshop and sprang into action teaching the other participants how to do silk screen the way we were told by our teachers..

This mounting board was sprayed with glue to make it sticky to prevent the cloth that we were trying to print from slipping out of the way!
Alvin Lim was helping a participant to paint her shirt.
Yeah, it's my turn now !!!
Wow first time I got interviewed, "whew" a brand new experience nice. Actually I was quite nervous and I was shaking within my bones from my head till toe!

The Penang Bridge Marathon!!

Forward charge!!!!!! The Marathon began with a dash forth to get a good placing..Later on the bridge someone vomited into the sea yucks these are one of the causes of water pollution!!!!!!
Later, we are showing our prizes i got a medal for the quarter marathon. I am so happy for this is the first time i got a medal from the Penang Bridge Marathon..

My fantastic Origami!!

First of all prepare an A4 paper and fold it to about 2/3 of the paper.
Next fold it in half and unfold as shown above.
Lift the paper like this as shown.
Press it down onto the table to make it tough and wont break loose.
Soon you will have two identical sides.
keep on folding...
then it looks like this.
Pull out the flap under the folded paper this will be the wing of the jet.
Do the same to the other wing and the jet wing soon began to take shape.
Flip the whole thing over ..
and holdit by its tail as shown above.
Press it down on the table to maintain the shape.
Pull out the tail and fold the flap up and down under the wing.
Soon the jet is almost done.
Fold the end of the unfinished plane up..
And fold it down again, do the same to the other side of the jet.
Soon, it will look like this..
Then, tadah! the jet origami is done and was done in only 5 mins.

Dana at Zhao Yao's House!!

Before the Dana we prepared some delicious dishes like "vege" Chicken curry,

Deep fried carrots (my favorite!!).
Dumplings.. and more!!
Tadah!! This is how it looks like after the food were served onto the table!
9:40 a.m.: Three of the invited monks arrived at the Zhao Yao's house!!
10:30 a.m.: Two more monks joined them..
There are soon five Sangha Members in the house and ready for the prayers.
After the prayers, I served the Sangha Members with some coconut water to refresh them after the long praying for protection and good health!
Zhao Yao is serving rice to the monks ..
Leading us to chant "Alms giving to the Order of Monks" before eating.
Soon invited guests are eating their food happily.

Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu! to the respected Sangha Members for accepting our invitation to the Dana.

May All be Happy and Healthy with the Merits from the Dana.

This post is specially dedicated to Zhao Min (my sis) she is awfully smart, lovely, beautiful and so on. Today,she proved to be brave and fast because you know what? She CAUGHT A COCKROACH!!! Totally amazing, this is my sister who is my loveliest sister ever!!!!!

You would say that it is only a cockroach big deal... But, in our family which have some sort of phobia called "entomophobia" which is a fear of insects (not me.=]) Once there was a cockroach (the ones that can fly) flew into the room!!

Do you know what they did after that? They dashed out of the building as the house is about to collapse!

But in my fathers family they actually used cockroach as a cure to fever. This is the recipe for this unusual medicine (whatever you do don't try this its just so disgusting but extremely effecitve )
The Recipe!!
1) Pluck of the cockroach's head and wings.
2) Wash or sterile the cockroach and dip it into a bowl of hot water.
3) Wait for half and hour remove the cockroach.
4) Drink up the water and you will be alright!!

Special Steps if the body temperature is too high..

We came here to celebrate Hari Raya and

For my family had not seen a "musang" in the house

before so all of them dashed to our house

cucumber and dried sea weed.

There a simple roll of cheese is done!

Make 3 same rolls like the last one.

Slice them into small pieces, they are delicious to eat.
These are stacked all over the plate.

Wow nicely put together! Red, green and yellow!

Come on everyone, take up your plate and say

Looks like on this street the residents have started

I am helping the little girl to draw birds on her

unfinished kite. She seems to be happy after

i helped her draw a air-plane and some birds !
